The Story

Vacano Creative collaborated with Jackie Schwabe at Press Play Lifestyle to develop two games for World Changer Consulting, a midwest consulting firm that works closely with therapists and caregivers, particularly in the areas of autism, Alzheimer’s, and dementia.

Using simplified versions of Uno and Yahtzee, we were able to produce games that could be used both at home and in a clinical environment, emphasizing color and number matching. Wanting to steer well clear of impeding on the intellectual property of the original games, we developed a distinct look and feel to the games and their packaging and presentation. We also modified the gameplay for people who may have difficulty with the more complicated rules of the original games.
